Grocery Shopping At Raley’s

For our third visit to our assigned location we decided to go to Riley’s to check it out and also to get some groceries that we needed. When we first walked in it was pretty empty, which was kind of nice, I usually shop at Walmart which is always full. But as we started to walk around we realized that everything was really expensive, maybe that is why it is so empty, because of the prices. After that we started to talk with an employee that works there, and we asked her why she thinks it is so empty. She was honest with us and told us that it is more expensive than other grocery stores. She told us that she does not even shop there herself, she shops at WinCo, she is also a college student herself, she can’t afford the prices at Railey’s. But she also told us that they have loyal customers who shop there often, and that they also have a great collection of wine which attracts a lot of costumers.  We ended up not getting anything because it was pretty expensive, maybe I will try WinCo instead it seems a lot cheaper and better than Walmart and Raley’s.

After that we ended up going to TJ Max to just look around, which actually turn into us shopping for at least an hour. The TJ Max here in Chico is pretty nice and it has a lot of things, from clothes to candy. I was amazed by the prizes, there was a lot of good deals. I ended up buying a new jacket for a really good prize, which I am pretty happy about. It is starting to get cold and this jacket is going to come in handy. We also spent a good amount of time looking at the makeup, we all love makeup and we were really surprised that they had brand makeup for a really cheap prize. Overall our trip to TJ Max was way more successful than our trip to Raley’s. Although I did not end up getting groceries. I did end up buying a cute jacket. Next time I need to do some shopping, I know that TJ Max is the place to go, it has really nice things for a really good price. Our second trip to our location was pretty good, we actually drove there this time, which made everything so much easier. We got there like in twenty minutes which is way faster than the bus. Since we drove there we weren’t rushed and we actually had time to look around and explore, which was nice. I personally liked driving there more than taking the bus there, but I know that the B Line is great transportation option.
